Maritza started dancing in 1989 at van Zyl Kroon Dance Studio.She received Northern Gauteng clothes, Elite colours at IAAASA and South African Colours. During her training she travelled all over South Africa to attend dance competitions and dance shows.
In 2002 she started teaching at Arthur Murray Studio and was a top specialist, rated globally.
Silver Moon Dance School, Maritza's own opened it's doors 2010. She has been teaching ever since, with a special focus on special needs children.
